Baton Rouge, LA – LWCC recently announced the hiring of Seth Irby as Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer as well as the promotion of Gary Sanders to Vice President. Sanders currently serves as Chief Security Officer.
“We’re thrilled to grow and evolve our team as we continue to champion Louisiana businesses,” says LWCC President and CEO Kristin Wall. “Hard work, dedication and our commitment to serving Louisiana over the last 27 years plays an integral role in achieving our purpose–helping Louisiana thrive. We are confident Seth and Gary will empower us to continue making transformational change in our state.”
Seth Irby, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer
Irby brings to LWCC a variety of experience and expertise in strategic
planning, leadership training and facilitation, change management, and
strategic communication consulting. Previously a senior consultant with
Emergent Method, Irby has led a number of strategic planning projects
for clients including LWCC, Louisiana’s Coastal Protection and
Restoration Authority, Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders and
Contractors, and the LSU Alumni Association. Prior to his work at
Emergent Method, Irby served as the managing director for a national
fraternity’s headquarters in Richmond, Virginia where he managed a
35-person staff and oversaw the creation and implementation of national
priorities, goals, and assessment models.
As Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, Irby will oversee LWCC’s communications and agency relations teams and evaluate and improve the company’s marketing and branding, internal and external communications, and customer experience.
Gary Sanders, Vice President and Chief Security Officer
Sanders has over 25 years of experience in information security and
technology including information technology management, infrastructure
design, network management and business continuity planning. After
joining LWCC in 1997, Sanders progressed through multiple key roles
within the IT division. In 2015, Sanders was promoted to assistant vice
president of information security and was named Chief Security Officer
in 2017.
“Gary’s expertise and contributions to LWCC have been invaluable,” says Wall. “The creation of our security division has allowed us to approach all security matters with a higher strategic priority and laser-like focus. We are pleased to promote Gary to this Vice President role and know he will continue to play an integral role in leading our security efforts.”
Irby and Sanders will work alongside one another as LWCC continues to take on transformational projects in the areas of safety, learning and innovation, and health and wellness, to just name a few. Under Sanders’ leadership, LWCC recently launched a new initiative focused on improving safety in local schools. Irby will not only support Sanders in this work, but provide expertise and resources to the company’s safety team and others as they work to improve the lives LWCC’s customers and fellow citizens. More information regarding LWCC’s Safe Schools program will be provided as the initiative progresses.
